Maria's Bottom Line

I'm definitely an MU fan and investor, and I've been trying to put on an earnings trade ahead of Sept. 30. The problem isn't finding a reason to own Micron. The problem is getting the pullback I want at the price I want before selling the put. MU hasn't given it to me yet, and I'm not chasing the stock just because the earnings clock is ticking. We still have time. Earnings aren't until Wednesday, Sept. 30. Give me the pullback. Give me the premium. I'm in—hook, line and sinker.

Maria's Bottom Line

CoreWeave is another stock I like having in my portfolio, and this is one I intend to keep. Because of that, I'm changing how I handle my covered calls on CRWV. This time around, I don't plan on selling calls against the position and risking having the shares called away. If I do sell covered calls, they will be well out of the money and only if the premium makes sense, particularly with CoreWeave's next earnings report expected in November. CRWV can move quickly, and in this case, keeping the stock is more important to me than squeezing a little extra premium out of it.
